[MAGHAREBIA] The Libyan Coast Guard seized more than 30,500 kilos of drugs

The boat was stopped in Libyan territorial waters, some 40 kilometres northeast of the al-Bouri oilfield. It was later moved to the Tripoli naval base. "The anti-narcotics department recorded the shipment, its contents and weight," Colonel Gacem said. He did not specify the type of drugs seized from the boat. | |

| #6 The stoners will never know the difference. We get reports of busts like this between Mexico and the US all the time. It never puts a dent in the supply on the street. They have to make token busts every now and then to make it look like they're doing their jobs, you know. But they aren't. |
