| Bahrainis held demo against Al Khalifa, Al Saud regimes |

| [Iran Press TV] People have taken to streets in eastern Bahrain to protest against the ruling Al Khalifa and Al Saud regimes. The demonstration was held in the island of Sitra east of capital Manama on Wednesday with Bahrainis shouting slogans against the two regimes. Protesters burned effigies of Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Earlier in the day, Bahrain's public prosecutor said six people were arrested over the past couple of days for allegedly insulting the Bahraini king on Twitter. The latest detentions came two days after a court acquitted rights activist Yousef al-Muhafedha of spreading false news on Twitter. |
