| #10 Several of the comments talk about kids being shot by police because they're playing with an Air-soft gun. SINCE WHEN HAS IT BECOME SOP FOR COPS TO SHOOT KIDS FOR ANY REASON WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING THE SITUATION??? I have the feeling that with the militarization of the police they have become more cowardly and more trigger happy. The cop's response to any situation should NOT be to shoot first. |

| #3 Another "It's for the children" moment. That's the current phrase for stripping adults of fundamental rights. Right up there with "social justice". Note that unlike a hundred years + of legal precedent of the "right to face one's accuser", the state falls back on keeping the anonymity of the caller. That defense should be dropped as quickly as it take any rational person [I know that excludes bureaucrats] to realize they've used to push someone's agenda. |
