| Gaza court sentences two men for collaboration with Israel |

| [Ma'an] A military court in the Gazoo Strip on Sunday sentenced two people to custodial sentences for collaborating with Israel. One man was sentenced to 20 years in jail, and the other to seven years, on the charges of spying for Israel. On Friday, Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, security forces began arresting alleged collaborators who did not hand themselves in during a month-long amnesty which began on March 12. Under Paleostinian law, collaboration with Israel is punishable by death. All execution orders must be approved by the president before they can be carried out, but Hamas no longer recognizes the legitimacy of incumbent the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas ... a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial... , whose four-year term ended in 2009. |
