North Korea Bars South Delegation from Kaesong
2013-04-18
[An Nahar] North Korea on Wednesday barred a delegation of South Korean businessmen from delivering food and supplies to 200 of their staff inside the closed Kaesong joint industrial zone.

Ten representatives of the 123 South Korean firms in Kaesong had applied for permission to visit the zone, two weeks after the North blocked all access amid soaring military tensions on the Korean peninsula.

"Moments ago, North Korea informed us that the request for a visit by 10 representatives of the business companies at Kaesong had been turned down," Unification Ministry front man Kim Hyung-Seok said.

#2  Fear notteth, NOKOR says they remain technically in a "state of nuclear war" wid the US. Also, the Chinese PLAN took over from the CMS-SOA in violating Japan's territorial waters near the Senkakus.

I suspect KJU + First Babe + Baby Pudgy are relaxing in a sauna somewhere.

Meanwhile ...

* WORLD NEWS > "STOP ENCROACHING ON OUR TERRITORY", CHINA [again] WARNS JAPAN.

Beijing unhappy wid Tokyo's new bbilateral fishing agreement wid Taiwan in disputed Senkakus/Diaoyus + Japan EEZ, as IIUC the new agreement effectively Japan's + Taiwan's EEZ to the other [ + by extens also their Military-specific areas of responsibility, security espec Nippon's].

* SAME, TOPIX > CHINA CRITICIZES US MILITARY PRESENCE, BUILDUP IN ASIA.

PRC Defence Ministry would once again like the World to know that CHINA HAS NO OVERSEAS MILBASES.

Y-E-T.

When talking about the Cold War USSR/CPSU + now China, that may be a bit too little, too late for Macalanang.

* SAME > KOREAN WAR UNLIKELY. BUT RISKS REMAIN FOR RUSSIA.

Most realistic threat in Moscow's mind is NOT full-scale DPRK military attack or war agz the ROK, but 5-6 ROK NucPlants = New/Mini-CHERNOBYLS going boom in the night thanks to wily sneaky DPRK Commando-Saboteur actions in peacetime.

Thats what I thought.

Going down since Monday, my bad vibes on China-vs-Japan-vs-Debt/Sequester-ridden-USA just went up again.

#1  last week Pudgy was all over the news.
this week nothing.
I still wonder if N. Korea was paid heaps of (foreign) cash to stage that whole act ... just to benefit someone else (i.e. Iran or China).
