| A member of a local government administration was killed and another man was wounded in a drive-by shooting by suspected Siwaka Niseng and Yalae Arlae were together on a motorcycle on a local road in Si Sakhon district when they were followed by two men on another motorcycle. The pillion rider shot at them with an unidentified weapon, killing Ms Siwaka, who was part of the Tambon Si Banpot Administration Organisation, on the spot. Police from the Si Sakhon district station said they were advised of the incident by residents in the area by telephone.
