| Ahmed Mohamed Islam Announced Juba land president |

| [Shabelle] news from Kismayu have confirmed that Ahmed Mohamed Islam (Ahmed Madobe) has been just announced the president of Juba land. Sources confirm that the president has been elected by representatives who are based at the Kismayu University. It is reported that some representatives withdrew from the election after learning that they have been allocated less share in the election. On the other side, the government has today appointed a committee that will conduct peace talks and dialogues amongst the communities living in the region. |
