| #4 I expect we'll have to write off the Taiwanese. Blood is thicker than water. They voted twice for a guy whose heart is set on reunification. In retrospect, Bush's decision to deny late model F-16's to Taiwan may have been a wise one. In a fight over Okinawa, I expect JSDF and USAF bombing runs over Taiwan, which is quite a shift from the WWII history of the Japanese and US air services facing off against each other. |
