| Saudi Arabia beheads Pakistanis for armed robbery |

Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... on Monday beheaded two Pak men convicted of armed robbery, the interior ministry said in a statement carried by the official SPA news agency. The execution in the western city of Jeddah came after the two men admitted to having set up a gang to rob bank customers at gunpoint, the report said. A total of 54 people have been executed in Saudi Arabia since the start of the year, according to an AFP count. In 2012, the Gulf country put 76 people to death, according to an AFP tally based on official figures. Human Rights Watch ... dedicated to bitching about human rights violations around the world... has put the number at 69. |

| #1 Robbing banks at gunpoint? That seems so thuggish and antiquated especially since today most successful bank robberies occur with the stroke of a pen in hallowed halls. |
