NAACP: DoJ, Secret Service Should Investigate Rodeo Clown
2013-08-14
[BREITBART] On Tuesday, the Missouri State National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) issued a statement asking for federal involvement in the case of a rodeo clown who wore an Obama mask and then asked the crowd if they'd like to see Obama run down by a bull.
Ummm... For a clown?
"The activities at the Missouri State Fair targeting and inciting violence against our President are serious and warrant a full review by both the Secret Service and the Justice Department," said State President Mary Ratliff.
Inciting violence against B.O.? Groups of Missourians showing up with cattle and trampling him? Not much of a threat.
"Incidents involving individuals acting out with extreme violent behavior in movie theaters, schools, churches, political appearances, and outdoor events in general speaks volume to the irresponsible behavior of all the parties involved with the incendiary events at the Missouri State Fair."
There were clowns involved in those? Well, damn them!
Ratliff went on to condemn the state's funding of the State Fair:
What part of "State Fair" doesn't she understand?
"Our Legislature has failed to support Medicare Expansion in Missouri, has consistently attempted to dismantle our Human Rights Commission, fail to adequately fund urban schools -- (who) are predominately African American -- yet they are subsidizing the Missouri State Fair to the tune of $400,000; we are calling for the subsidy to stop...
Can they have a few bucks if there's anything left over after your buddies have been taken care of?
How dare those peasants spend a little of their own money to amuse themselves!
[Governor Nixon's] planned Pancake Breakfast for Thursday should be his 'Last Supper' at the Missouri State Fair in response to the racially intolerant attacks on his Commander in Chief."
'Twasn't racially intolerant. The clown was making fun of him.
Besides, the president is only commander-in-chief of the military. The rest of us he must ask politely.
What this demonstrates very clearly is that Champ has rabbit ears. He can't tolerate for a moment being taunted. Recall the vitriol that Dubya faced (including a snuff film); never seemed to bother him any.

#27  It's humor, btw....

#26  ...it gets "better"...

“Had the TSA been present, no Obama masks would have ever gotten through our security checkpoints. Our agents are highly trained to find latex and certain kinds of offensive plastic products, including any that might be secreted into private crevices to circumvent security."

#25  Bambi is certainly the one he's been waiting for, CF. >:-(

#24  Just watched that whole video. Good.

Somehow I can't imagine Obumbles making fun of himself. That would take a bit of humility which Obama simply doesn't have. Two of the things I liked about Bush was his humility, and his compassion (something else Bumbles doesn't have...)

Obama truly believes he's 'the One' we have been waiting for - he said so himself.

#23  swk, that was one of the things I really liked about W: he wasn't afraid to laugh at himself.

I also liked the comedian's comment about Laura Bush: "Muy caliente".

#22  Thanks swk. I sure needed good laugh.

#20  National Association for the Advancement of Clown People, more like.

I wish the Black Klan got as much attention as the Klu Klux Klan does anymore. Can we take both groups, toss them into a stadium along with a dozen or so knives, and weld the doors shut?

#19  I guess the left will want to have all the States repeal their 'Stand Your Clown' laws.

#18  If we had a color-blind society, this would be a non-issue. If it had been Bush, only crickets would been heard. This is what happens when one elects or hires an affirmative action employee.

#17  We need a day when everyone in the country dresses up as a clown to mock this president.
If a substantial portion of the population dressed up to ridicule Obama, the result would simply be a RIOT.

#14  It would be quite easy to mistake a clown with Obama's face for a clown of a president.

#10  Worst clown mockery of a president: the one at the MO rodeo, or the one prancercizing on a Martha's Vineyard golf course?

#9  Eight years of media fueled BDS and this is their response. It's never been about fairness or equality. It's always been about power.

#8  Even the Romans knew it was bread and circuses' were needed to passivate the masses.

First they came for the clowns...

#7  These folks after the clown's hide are nuts. I haven't watched the video, but even if he's the mutant spawn of Bull Connor and banjo boy, the clown knew for sure and certain that the Boss was not present, and therefore in no danger whatsoever. But zeee booool... for all we know, that bull thought he was after the real thing. All patriotic citizens must immediately demand an investigation of that bull, with particular regard to its political affiliations, social media postings, and eligibility to carry pointy things around on its head.

#6  Look who is intolerant. These fools can only attack their own people. Worldwide impotence.

#5  Schizophrenic organizations aside, I find any type of reference to humour in conjunction with The Champ quite offensive.
Posted by: Besoeker   2013-08-14 02:29

#4  What would happen if someone published an editorial cartoon showing Obama as a cowboy who's being run down by a bull who bears the written designation 'Administration Scandals' ?

The clown's reference to violence was unrealistic. He performed an editorial cartoon. One may disagree with his point but how could this be criminal?

'Death of a President' OTOH presented a realistic scenario of the assassination of George W. Bush. Were there legal consequences for anyone involved in the making?

Is this the time we point at the NAACP and laugh?
