| Grenade attacks target government troops in middle Shabelle |

| [Shabelle] a heavy kaboom occurred in Jowhar town, middle shabelle region of Somalia that has caused severe damages to the government troops targeted. According to the residents of Hanti wadhaag estate, gunnies detonated hand grenades and threw them at a military base in the estate. Heavy kabooms were heard and the gun men beat feet from the scene after causing the damages. Death and injury casualties are reported, though the exact number has not yet been confirmed yet. Government officials in the area have not released any statements as for now and no one has claimed the responsibility of the attacks. |
