10-Year-Old Girl Accused Of Raping 4-Year-Old During Game Of 'Doctor'
2013-08-26
[HOUSTON.CBSLOCAL] A 10-year-old girl is facing rape charges from playing an alleged game of "doctor" with a group of children from her housing complex.
Quick, Ethel! My pills!
The girl, who is only identified as "Ashley," was charged by police for aggravated sexual assault.
Oh, the depravity!
In April, Ashley was among a group of children who were playing doctor, KRIV-TV reports. A neighbor saw the children and called the mother of a 4-year-old boy who was also playing in the group. Houston police say that Ashley was inappropriately touching the 4-year-old boy.
"She wuz touchin' his pee-pee!"
"I've never dealt with a child this young being accused of a crime," Quanell X, who is working with Ashley's family, told KRIV.
Playing doctor! The brazen hussy!
"In fact this was nothing more than inappropriate horseplay that has now led to a child that is 10-years-old being charged with aggravated rape."
Ummm... "Rape" involved penetration. What was she touching the child with?
Ashely was held for four days in the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center in June.
"Into the slammer wit' yez!"
"Can I bring my dolly?"

Ashley's mother calls the situation a "nightmare."
Another tiny episode in our long, sad national nightmare. We can't spank them for being naughty anymore, so we incarcerate them.
"It's a nightmare even having to go through something like this because that's my baby, that's my baby and just the thought of her going through something like this it hurts me," the mom, who wanted to remain anonymous, told KRIV.
The thought of living in a society that couldn't handle something like this with a bit of grace and humor triggers my gag reflex.
She went on to state that she was not allowed to sit-in on the 45-minute questioning of her daughter.
"We don't want her coachin' the little pervert. We got a string of unsolved "doctor" cases, and she's a prime suspect!
Ashley's hearing will be in October for sexual assault charges.
How many of us would have remained sexually uneducated had we not met The Doctor?

#12  This should not have made it out the front door of the house, let alone all the way to the police station. Is there no common sense anymore? Honestly. Sticking a ten year old with a felony. Great. As if this kind of behavior is any kind indicator of how they will turn out when they grow up.

Laws have become the religion of this country. Some clown writes a law with his blinders on, and everybody tries to follow it to the letter because, as we all know, words are perfect. And this is how we end up.

'We"? "WE"???

Let's see... it was run VERBATIM from the LINKED site, with Fred's CUSTOMARY added social commentary.

NO DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER ARTICLE FRED HAS WANTED TO COMMENT ABOUT.

Maybe we COULD have spent OUR time and OUR Money calling the Houston Police.

Maybe.

/GEE! This ALL CAPS is FUN!! And so are EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!!

#5  It's a local news story from Houston. Local news always spike the headline to be more 'sensational'.

#4  A very slanted headline

1. It's what the article title says. Neither Fred or "Rantburg" made it up.

2. The opening paragraph reads:

A 10-year-old girl is facing rape charges from playing an alleged game of “doctor” with a group of children from her housing complex.

Now maybe it's me, but that opening paragraph rather backs up the headline, no?

and Rantburg should be ashamed

For what? CBS Houston's lousy journalistic practices?

#3  According to the link it was NOT rape, or anything like Rape.

A very slanted headline, and Rantburg should be ashamed.

#2  Anyone ask Whoopie if it was 'rape-rape' or not?

Where did the 10 YO learn to do that (assuming it was what I think it was...)? Mommy and her 'friends' perhaps?
