| One serviceman killed, another injured in Dagestan |

| A serviceman was killed and another injured when unknown assailants attacked them in Dagestan early Wednesday. The incident happened in the town of Buinaksk, about 40 kilometers southwest of the republic's capital Makhachkala. Buinaksk was the site of a counterterrorism operation Tuesday.
