| Man sets himself on fire at National Mall, one witness says his accomplice filmed the entire ordeal: report Police responded to reports of a self-immolation at the National Mall on Friday. The man was rushed to a local hospital by helicopter after using fuel to set himself ablaze near the National Gallery of Art in the middle of the mall, which remains closed due to the U.S. government shutdown. Motive? Will he be arrested for going onto forbidden Federal Shutdown property? |
