[An Nahar] British police on Sunday charged two men with terror offences after they were placed in durance vileI ain't sayin' nuttin' widdout me mout'piece! during a dramatic counter-terrorism operation in London last week. A 25-year-old man is accused of preparing acts of terrorism while he and another 25-year-old man are suspected of gathering information which could be used in a terror act, London's Metropolitan Police said in a statement. |

| #1 Wait just a freakin' minute here. Armed police--extremely rare for the Brits--shot out the tires of a car containing two guys who were released without charge. WTF? Is this just the way the Brits operate when they have some Bad Guys? Or did they get their intel so wrong the shooters felt justified in blasting away to stop the escape? In this country, they'd shoot the driver and passenger and then visit the guy's home and shoot the dog. But this is the UK. What does sovereign immunity mean when you have an actual Sovereign? |
