| Jamaat men clash with police in several dists; blockade extended |

| [Bangla Daily Star] A 12-year-old boy was killed by stray bullets and 10 others were maimed yesterday, as Jamaat-Shibir men fought with law enforcers in Sirajganj during Jamaat's nationwide hartal ... a peculiarly Bangla combination of a general strike and a riot, used by both major political groups in lieu of actual governance ... that coincided with the opposition's blockade across the country.
