| Car bomb at police camp in Egypt's Ismailia leaves one dead |

[Al Ahram] A boom-mobile went kaboom!outside a central security forces camp in Egypt's Suez Canal city of Ismailia,killing one and injuring at least 20 conscripts, Al-Ahram's Arabic news website reported. The kaboom was followed by extensive gunfire sounds, according to eye-witnesses who talked to the website. Al-Ahram reported the conscripts were being transported to hospitals. In a similar attack, a military intelligence facility in Ismailia was targeted by a boom-mobile in October injuring six army personnel. Since the ouster of former Islamist president Mohammed Morsi ...the former president of Egypt. A proponent of the One Man, One Vote, One Timeprinciple, Morsi won election after the deposal of Hosni Mubarak and jumped to the conclusion it was his turn to be dictator... on 3 July, and a military campaign in Sinai that followed it, security personnel have faced escalating attacks by bully boys. Several police and army officers have been killed by drive-by shootings in Ismailia since August. |
