This is the other Congo, by the way. DRC was a Belgian colony, while the present-day Republic of Congo was French. I believe that for a while it was People's Republic of Congo, but my mind gets fuzzier as I get older. Brazzaville and Kinshasa are on opposite sides of the Congo River, but they're two separate cities. As far as I know, nothing ever happens in Brazzaville Congo. |
