 Mohamed Ahmed Nur Tarsan who was appointed by the Prime minister on 17/01/2014 as the deputy Sports and youth minister held a press conference in Mogadishu today in which he stated that he is not ready for the position.

Mr. Tarsan has given an excuse for his announcement saying that the prime minister did not consult him about his appointment.

During the short conference, Tarsan thanked the president and the prime minister for their appointment and reiterated that he is not ready to part and parcel of the new cabinet.
Tarsan was the former Governor of Banadir region and the Mayor of Mogadishu before he was named in last nightÂ’s cabinet as the deputy minister for youths and sports.
