| Report: Syrian Rebels Capture Checkpoints Kilometers Away From Golan Heights |

| [Ynet] Rebel fighters in Syria, in conjunction with other Islamist regiments, took control of the villages Ein Swisa and Ein a-Tina, suburbs of the southwestern city Quneitra, over the weekend. They also captured several checkpoints just kilometers away from the ceasefire line near the Golan Heights, Arab media reported. The rebels, the reports said, are trying to open the road from Quneitra to Daraa, which is located directly east of the Sea of Galilee. |
