Dozens of Ethiopian troops were rumoured to have arrived today in Garbahaareey district in Gedo region. The troops who have up to 45 war convoys travelled to Garbahaareey in Gedo, where they stationed their soldiers.On the other hand, in Baardheere district also of Gedo region, there was a public protest held to criticise the presence of the Ethiopian forces in the region. An official from Al-Shabaab, Sheikh Fu'aad Mohamed Khalaf who gave a lecture at the protests conveyed his fury at Ethiopian troops waging war.
