| Algeria seizes Mali-bound weapons |

| [MAGHAREBIA] The Algerian army seized more than 40 rockets and surface to air missiles smuggled by elements of al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) in the province of Illizi near the Libyan border, Echorouk reported Thursday (February 27th). The army destroyed all of the Mali-bound weapons in addition to two four-wheel drive vehicles used by terrorists. The weapons were reportedly taken from Libya. |
