| #13 Uncle Phester : Generally the graphic can not come from one on your computer, but rather from another website that "permanently" contains the graphic, preferably the Rantburg web site. How do you get the address of the graphic ? Go to "the post your own article" on the left hand side you will see a list of the graphics available on Rantburg - click in the one you want - copy the script and insert it in the comments section. It will look like this - img src='/images/3dg.gif' align='right' valign='top' (I omitted the symbols < and > at the beginning and end of the computer script or you would not be able to read these instructions. ) After you have pasted the address of the graphic click the Preview button to see if it appears in the comments dialog preview. If it does you are good to go. It will look like this -  A more complicated method involves a search engine like Bing or Google - In the comments box on Rantburg at the far right is an icon that looks like this - up comes some computer script that looks like this - img src= valign=top align=right / (Remember to put symbols < and > at the beginning and end of the computer script) In the area - img src= - after the first =, paste the address of your graphic. How do I get the address on Bing? - Right click on the graphic you want - up will come a dropdown menu, go down to "properties" in the dropdown - click on it - copy the "address" from the dialog box, which pops up. Paste the "address" of the graphic after the = in - img src= - Uncle Phester this was my gif-t to you |
