Alan Dershowitz: Bladerunner backdrop - "South Africa is a failed country."
2014-03-12
[Channel-24] Cape Town – South Africans are outraged after an American lawyer, Alan Dershowitz, called South Africa a "failed country" during an interview with Piers Morgan on CNN.
Ja dis regs "Outraged"....but turning their Boerboel's out in the garden, bolting the door, and placing their loaded Kommando on the night stand before turning in.
"Oh please, Mr Doucheshowitz - maybe look at your own miserable country before calling other's a failing country you pompous self-righteous prick!" one YouTube user wrote in reaction to the interview.
The YouTube user is clearly kak yapping. They'd be queuing up at Smuts to come here tomorrow if they had airfare.
Dershowitz, a well-known criminal lawyer who has been involved in several high-profile legal cases, lashed out at South Africa during an interview with Piers Morgan regarding the Oscar Pistorius case.

In the controversial video clip, Dershowitz says he has spent time in South Africa and it is a “failed and lawless” country.
Broken clock theory must certainly apply. However painful, give the man credit for telling the truth. The greater tragedy is HOW the country failed.

#8  What is more amazing is that someone was watching Piers Morgan and actually heard the remark.
If a tree falls in the forest and all that...

#7  Democracy is a rare animal. History is replete with various 'cracies in which the benefits go to the few. The absurd notion is that real democracy (vs 'Peoples Democracies') is natural and would flourish given with a nudge in the right direction. The only complaint of the usual suspects is not about freedoms and liberties, but who'll exercise the power as determined by some color, race, or creed factor.

#6  Cape Town Press Club speaker appears to agree with Dershowitz.

The political DNA and inescapable outcomes are eerily similar to our own.
