| 8 Taliban Insurgents Killed in Afghan Offensive |

| [Tolo News] At least eight Taliban hard boyz were killed and ten others were maimed during a series of security operations conducted by the joint Afghan forces operations in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoIA) said on Saturday. "Afghan National Police (ANP), Afghan National Army and the National Directorate for Security (NDS) or intelligence service conducted several anti-terrorism joint operations in, Faryab, Zabul, Pashtun-infested Logar and Ghor provinces," the ministry said in a statement. The MoIA did not provide details about Afghan forces casualties during the raids. "Also, during these operations, Afghan National Police discovered and confiscated light and heavy rounds ammunition and IEDs," the statement read. The Taliban has not yet commented on the casualties. |
