| Suicide Bomber Kills 15 in Faryab |

| [Tolo News] Fifteen non-combatants were killed and 23 others were maimed including women and kiddies when a jacket wallah detonated in a market in Faryab province in northern Afghanistan early on Tuesday, local officials said. The bomber was riding a rickshaw and detonated in a market in Maimana, capital of Faryab, around 8:30 am local time, the Faryab police chief Toryalai Abdiani told TOLOnews. Abdiani said the target was national police forces. "The attack took place... in a market where police soldiers were standing to collect their salaries from Kabul Bank," Toryalai said. One child and one woman were maimed in the attack and 2 police soldiers were maimed, Toryalai added. The victims were taken to a nearby hospital in the province. |
