| Yemen frees 2 UN staff, arrests kidnappers |

| Yemeni security forces have managed to free two Italians working for the UN office in the capital Sanaa, just a few hours after they were kidnapped earlier on Tuesday, local officials said, Xinhua reported. The security forces also arrested the kidnappers after brief clashes near the presidential palace area south of Sanaa. |
