Five misconceptions about the Boston Marathon bombing |

#5 the Gibson raid was the agents of the Fish and Wildlife Service Thanks! I stand corrected. Too much connecting the dots, I guess: Dept. of Justice, federal agents, raid, automatic weapons... So Fish & Wildlife gets the points for the two raids on Gibson (2009 & 2011). Sorry, FBI. What F&W are doing with automatic weapons is left as an exercise for the Reader. |

#4 Misconception #6: That the Media won't try to bend the facts to fit their own agenda. (BTW, the Gibson raid was the agents of the Fish and Wildlife Service, not the FBI. Figure that one out.) |

#3 OK, so the FBI screwed the pooch in the Boston Bombing case. On the plus side, they have been effective in stopping the Gibson Guitar Corp from using what may or may not be illegal wood in their instruments. |

#2 Immigrants - especially illegal ones - need to "feel safe" in America. Native born citizens, not so much... |

#1 Thanks ryuge. Great article, but did not mention that fact that the Tsarnaev bros. were reportedly taking their bombing campaign to NYC when captured, and the feds never bothered to mention anything to the NYPD. The posting of suspect's foto's [clear, frontal images] on teevee only 2 days after the bombing was very, very un-FBI. I have always suspected this was a cover-up for having full, prior knowledge. Deadly force used against the koffee table tossing associate has a strange smell also. |
