Middle East Tawhid bans activists without press permits
2014-04-08
[Beirut Daily Star] The Tawhid Brigade has banned anti-regime media activists in Aleppo province from entering areas it controls without formal authorization.

The rebel group said it was doing so in order to "safeguard the course of military operations underway."

Tawhid, a member of the Islamic Front coalition of seven large militias, controls checkpoints and areas in the Old Aleppo, other neighborhoods of the city, and a number of locations in the northern part of the province.
