Reports indicate that three people were killed and another seriously wounded in two shootings in two Jewish centers in Kansas, local media reported. A suspect has been arrested and was heard yelling "heil Hitler" as he was taken into custody. KSHB reported that one person is in custody following multiple shootings reported at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park and Village Shalom.
It is unclear whether the incidents are related, though a KCTV reporter claimed "a man in handcuffs at the scene was yelling about Hitler." Additional reports claimed the man was heard yelling "heil Hitler."
The alleged shooter, a man in his 70s, was not from Kansas and used a shotgun in the attack. He had a handgun in his possession when he was arrested, the Star reports.
After officers arrested Frazier Glenn Cross — an Aurora, Mo., man better known as F. Glenn Miller — Sunday afternoon, authorities said he went on a rant inside the patrol car. | |||
