This development implies direct military contact between Iran and the U.S., through which American officials understood the immediate strategic needs of the Iranian air force." Looks like we bought into "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." |

| #2 Four 500 pound bombs hardly counts as a 'heavy'. And while the Iranians did fire Harpoons and Tomahawks and Sidewinders (and Russian clones) I cannot find any reference to any Iranian Tomcats receiving the Air to Ground mods. At PAX River Strike our Bombcats were all the D models. |
