Three Saiqa members and a civilian kidnapped in Benghazi

It now numbers a few thousand and reports to the Ministry of Defence. It deployed in Benghazi in an attempt to control the carnage. members and a student have been kidnapped in three separate abductions in Benghazi and have not been heard from since Friday.

The commander of the Saiqa Special Forces Investigations Unit, Fathal Hassi, told the Libya Herald, that Saiqa members Adel Nabous and Monam Hatheri were kidnapped at Nabous' farm in Gwarsha. They were reportedly on their way to visit a friend for lunch.

The third Special Forces member, Salah Braki, was later kidnapped in front of his son who was left unharmed.

The fourth individual, a student from Benghazi University, Mohammed Askandrani, was kidnapped in the Boatni area.

No further information is available on the kidnappings and there has been no contact between the abductors and the families of those who were taken.
