| #11 Brovo. Shotguns might be better for home defense. A 9mm might go through your wall and kill a neighbor. Shot gun pellets are less likely to and they spread with distance. The sound of a round being chambered on a pump shotgun is unmistakeable. Any crook with half a brain will run. |

| #10 There is an episode of Best Defense very similar to this, except instead of being jumped outside starting the car a toddler unlocks the door after hearing a knock. |
