| [CHANNELSTV] A Security Consultant, Captain Umar Aliyu (Rtd), on Monday, said that Nigeria was not getting any wiser and not learning anything in the fight against insurgency, four years down the line. Captain Aliyu, who was part of a conversation about the State of the Nation on Channels Television's Sunrise Daily, feels that the effort of the authorities in the fight against Boko Haram ... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... does seem to be going anywhere. |
