Four ISAF Soldiers Killed in Eastern Afghanistan
2014-07-09
[Tolo News] Four International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) service members died as a "result of an enemy forces attack" in eastern Afghanistan on Monday, according to a statement released by ISAF.

ISAF did not provide details about the exact location of the incident and the nationality of the soldiers.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that the four ISAF personnel were killed in a suicide kaboom in Parwan province, north of Kabul, close to Bagram airfield, the largest U.S. base in the country. At least ten others, most of them civilians, were killed in the attack too.

The death brings the number of foreign troops kill this year in Afghanistan to 50.

#2  Mercy. We have a family friend who was in an OMLT--Nat'l Guard partnering--with the Czechs in Astan. He's been home about a year. Wonder if any of the guys he knew were on another deployment.
