#1 Hamas has been somewhat embarrassed by the lack of fatalities on the Israel side. It will be hard for them to agree to a cease fire without at least one rocket attack which kills a few people.
On the Israeli side, the attacks on infrastructure have been pretty successful, but what the IDF is hoping for is to get the coordinates of the Hamas underground bunker system so the main portion (there are going to be portions that don't connect to the main portion) it can be hit simultaneously with multiple warheads. I think they have a few locations now but not enough. |
