| Morocco tightens security over terror threat |

| [MAGHAREBIA] Morocco is tightening security measures in response to a "serious terrorist threat" from the Islamic State group, AFP reported on Friday (July 11th). Interior Minister Mohammed Hassad on Thursday said there was an elevated risk of "a terrorist attack against the kingdom because of the growing number of Moroccans belonging to Death Eater organizations in Syria and Iraq". "A certain number of these fighters rise to leading positions within such organizations and do not hide their intention of carrying out terrorist attacks in Morocco," Hassad told a cabinet meeting in Rabat. |
