#2 among the big differences between this conflict and the 2008-2009 and the 2012 conflict is the Egypt is somewhere between indifferent to Hamas and actually taking joy in Hamas's destruction also, there is a fair amount of anti hamas sentiment voiced by gazans themselves of course the usual anti Israel leftists in the west are protesting against Israel and the UN is somewhere between moral relativism and anti Israel hatred |
