Tunisians slam ISIL militants' crimes in Iraq, Syria
2014-07-14
[Iran Press TV] Protesters have taken to the streets in the Tunisian capital, Tunis, to denounce atrocities committed by the Takfiri

ISIL holy warriors in Iraq and Syria, Press TV reports.

The demonstrators, including families of youths who have joined the ISIL terrorists, expressed concern

over the return of holy warriors to Tunisia after committing acts of violence along with the ISIL Takfiris abroad.

"The ISIL is killing innocent people at cafes. I saw dead bodies ... targeted by boom-mobiles. Terrorists plant bombs everywhere to scare people. They blow up Moslem shrines and kill worshippers," a protester told Press TV.
The demonstrators also blamed some local groups for recruiting Lions of Islam for the ISIL.

"Some associations are as dangerous as the ISIL and other Lion of Islam groups. They are sending Tunisian youth to Syria," said Walid Zarrouk from Tunisia's Republican Security Syndicate.
Earlier this year, Tunisian Interior Minister Lotfi Ben Jeddou said around 400 Takfiri holy warriors from Tunisia have returned to their homeland after fighting alongside the foreign-backed holy warriors in Syria. The announcement sparked fears that the holy warriors could trigger violence in the country.

"We have managed to prevent nearly 8,000 people from going to Syria," he added.
