Qatar To Provide 'Emergency Assistance' To Gaza
2014-08-17
[Ynet] Gulf nation, which sought to mediate between Israel, Paleostinians, will pay $1,000 to Strip residents whose homes were destroyed during Protective Edge.

Qatar will provide one thousand dollars as preliminary assistance to Paleostinians whose homes were destroyed during Operation Protective Edge, said Gazoo's Social Affairs undersecretary Omar al-Darbi on Saturday.
He would be Hamas, yes?
Qatar has long been considered as source of Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason,' funds and had offered to serve as mediator during the summer conflict — Israel rejected their proposal and demanded Egypt broker the negotiations.

A senior Paleostinian source in the ministry added that the committee governing the strip will supervise the aid and dispense the cash through the Social Affairs Ministry's offices across the Strip.
Is that also Hamas? Because Fatah/the PLO/PA has not formally,-- or informally -- taken control, and may never do so if Hamas doesn't sign off on Egypt's truce conditions.
The ministry is currently in the process of determining the names of all the owners of the destroyed homes in order to prevent any mishandling of the Qatari funds and assure the aid reaches the innocent victims of the IDF operation.

The source said the agreed-upon sum was defined as "emergency assistance" to families who lost their homes, in order to help them afford rent and purchase basic necessities during this difficult time.

According to UNRWA, the UN agency responsible for Paleostinian refugees, some half a million Gazooks were internally displaced during the operation. According to the IDF, 10,690 homes were destroyed, 141 schools were damaged, and five hospitals were shut down.
So that's either 500,000 x $1,000 or 10,690 x $1,000... either way, that's a nice check Qatar will shortly hand to Hamas, no questions asked.
In July, former president Shimon Peres slammed Qatar as "the world's largest funder of terror," stating that it should not provide money that is used for rockets and tunnels meant to kill civilians, and if it wants to help, it should build, "but should not be allowed to destroy."

In 2012, due to the deteriorating security situation in Damascus caused by the Syrian civil war, Hamas political chief Khaled Mashal relocated his headquarters "temporarily" to Qatar.
But that has nothing to do with this action, nothing whatsoever.

#6  QATAR = NOT-BAHRAIN = "WHERE THE US, NATO-EU ARE NOT", which is why IRAN is there in tacit support of local Shia rights vee local Sunnis.

QATAR = MOSUL IN KAR, IRAQ = smack down in the middle of the eastern shore of the Arabian Peninsula + close to mostly Shia-occupied Saudi oil field regions.

As for GAZA ... ...

* DAWN.PK > UMMAH WILL NOT ACCEPT ISRAELI OCCUPATION OF AL-QUDS [+ Paleo Palestine]: JI EMIR [Siragul Haq].

JI Emir Siragul Haq wants to know why tiny Israel can do what it does in Gaza + ME despite the fact that the Islamic OIC has approximately 7.0Milyuhn Troops, 4000 MBTS, 15,000 Aircraft, + 70% of the World's Oil Reserves - IFF THE MUSLIMS IN THE ME CAN'T OR WON'T DO THEIR DUTY IN DEFENSE OF AL-QUDS + PALESTINE + PALESTINIAN PEOPLE, THERE ARE 180.0MILYUHN PAKISTANIS WHOM WILL DO IT FOR THEM.

JI + PAKISTAN = LETS SEE YOU DO THAT, TURKEY!

#4  Why ARCLIGHT when we simply tell them that we wouldn't interfere in any Iran actions against them? Saves on the gas. Many can play the duplicitous game.

#3  Personally, I think the US military should pull out of Qatar and move to either Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, or (to get heads really exploding) Baghdad. Then we can ARCLIGHT them if they get too involved with Hamass.
