| Bomb attacks leave over 40 dead across Iraq |

| [Iran Press TV] Security and police officials say at least 41 people have been killed when multiple bomb kabooms destroyed several cities in conflict-stricken Iraq. On Saturday, three boom-mobiles killed 21 people and maimed 118 others in the northern city of Kirkuk, ... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time... situated 236 kilometers (147 miles) north of the capital, Baghdad. Two of the bombs went off near buildings under construction that were used as observation positions by Kurdish security forces, while the third struck the entrance to a market. Earlier in the day, a bomber blew his explosives-laden car outside an intelligence headquarters in Baghdad, killing at least 11 people. A second bomber drove his car into a gathering of Shia volunteers and Iraqi soldiers near the city of Tikrit, located 140 kilometers (86 miles) northwest of Baghdad, killing nine people there. Two civilians were also injured in a blast in the Kurdish city of Erbil. There has been no claim of responsibility for the attacks, but they bore the hallmarks of Takfiri ...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who must be killed... turbans. Meanwhile, ...back at the Senate, the partisans of Honorius went for their knives and the partisans of Stilicho went for the doors... United Nations ...boodling on the grand scale... Iraq envoy, Nickolay Mladenov, has warned that Shia Turkmen residents of the northern Iraqi town of Amerli, which is besieged by the ISIL Takfiri terrorists, could face massacre if urgent action is not taken to rescue them. The ISIL faceless myrmidons have threatened all communities, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Izadi Kurds and others, as they continue their advances in Iraq. They have been committing heinous crimes in the areas they have taken, including the mass execution of civilians as well as Iraqi army troops and officers. |
