| Shwecchashebok League leader shot dead |

| [Dhaka Tribune] Unidentified miscreants have gunned down a local leader of Shwecchashebok League, a volunteer wing of the ruling Awami League, in the capital's Shyampur area. Probably in a disagreement over how to spell it. The deceased Riajul Karim Lalu, 42, son of Moktar Hossain, succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical college Hospital. "He's dead, Jim!" Riajul's brother Nazim told the Dhaka Tribune: "Unidentified miscreants open fired on my brother around 7:15pm, while he was sitting at his store in Shyampur area, leaving him critically injured." Shwecchashebok League is headed by Joe Btfsplk. "He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at 8pm while undergoing treatment." ...by Dr. Quincy.
