| Taliban Insurgents Killed In Kunar Clash |

| [Tolo News] At least 21 Taliban snuffies were killed on Wednesday in Kunar province ... which is right down the road from Chitral. Kunar is Haqqani country..... in a clash with the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF), local security officials said on Thursday. Local officials said the clash took place Wednesday at about 5 p.m. local time when a number of Taliban snuffies attacked two Afghan National Army (ANA) outposts in Ghazi Abad district of Kunar province. Provincial Police Chief Abdul Habib Sayedkhili, while confirming the incident, says that during the four hour long clash 21 Taliban snuffies were killed and two ANA soldiers were maimed. According to Sayedkhili, two Taliban capos were among the killed snuffies known as Din Mohammad and Hakimullah. There are no reports of civilian casualties. Taliban have not commented on the attack yet. |
