| Susan Rice bolts from podium at White House press briefing |

| The National Security Advisor of the United States did something astonishing Friday. In the middle of a reporter's questioning, she bolted from the podium of the White House pressroom, saying, "Nice to see you," fleeing a situation she evidently was unable to cope with. The question that caused Ms. Rice to flee was a fairly simple one: whether or not the president has authorized the bombing of targets in Syria. Rice responded multiple times that the timing of strikes would not be released, but that was not the question at hand, and reporters pressed her on whether her boss had authorized strikes. This she could not answer. Did she not know? Or had he not bothered to sign the authorization? Or did she get her information from Valerie Jarrett and not know the details? We don't know because she ran away. The National Security Advisor is the one person in a White House who is required to have nerves of steel, the person who places the 3 AM phone call waking up the president in a time of crisis, the person who is expected to have options and plans available for the the POTUS. The person who takes the measure of the enemy and explains to the nation's chief executive the risks and the possibilities in a situation of extreme peril. And the current incumbent, when she has a difficult question being pressed by a reporter, flees, as in turns tail and runs away. It's likely there's less here than meets the eye. The question was 'yes/no.' She didn't want to answer it and they kept pressing her. She didn't want to say 'that information is classified,' for both OPSEC and political reasons. Best thing to do was to just leave when the news hounds wouldn't take the hint. |

| #18 You had to bring up the TRUTH. Ya, its out there. The issue with the administration and the press is neither of them want to talk about the hard questions. Ask them a hard question and they give you a truthful answer, for some other unasked question. They wont answer the questions asked. Its like watching two conversations. "So Mr. Speaker how was your drive in today?" "Well, Mr. Reporter, the DOW is up today because of my bill I passed a few weeks ago!" "Next question please." |

| #10 While I believe in the Heinlein Postulate that you should never attribute to malice that which can more easily be explained by stupidity, I still have this creepy feeling we are being fed political theater and nonsense to divert us from something far more odious. I am starting to believe this is "wag the dog" behavior. A press that six months ago would have pilloried nowhere man for mentioning military activity in Iraq is now literally beating the drum for the bombs to fall. Taken with the long delay in action by the administration, I believe this is part of a more complex PR campaign to mask an issue that would bring the house of cards crashing down around the ears of the administration. Something is going on behind the curtain...guesses? |

| #8 I want to know why we haven't heard from Samantha Powers. You know, the advisor who said that the only wars the U.S. should consider were the humanitarian wars to help other people. Okay then: does not defeating the ISIS constitute a humanitarian war? How about defeating Boko Haram? And so on. Neither Rice nor Powers is qualified to walk my cocker spaniel. |

| #7 Susan Rice is not qualified for the current employment, just as she wasn't qualified for the UN Ambassador gig. She is there to shut down the lying about Benghazi probes and the video excuse she promoted on behalf of the lying administration. Might as well bring Sandy Burglar back to stonewall the job for all the difference it would make. |
