Ferguson police officer shot, struck in arm |

[KSDK] A Ferguson, Missouri, police officer was treated at a local hospital after being shot in the arm Saturday night. According to police, the shooting occurred while the male officer was on a routine business check at the Ferguson Community Center. At approximately 9:10 p.m., the officer witnessed a male suspect in the rear of the building. When the officer stepped out of his vehicle, attempting to make contact, the suspect began to flee from the scene. The officer then pursued the suspect on foot. The suspect, armed with a handgun, fired multiple rounds at the officer during the pursuit. The officer returned fire but there is no indication, at this time, that the suspect was struck. |
