Cold Temps Set Record as Snow Arrives in Chicago |
2014-10-06 |
[NBCCHICAGO] Looks like Mother Nature isn't going to let reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ... home of Al Capone, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel,... forget that winter is coming. I blame Global Worming The city saw light snow Saturday morning, marking one of the earliest snow sightings on record. It was light in the south suburbs and didn't stick. The earliest snow spotting in Chicago is Sept. 25, which occurred in 1928 and again in 1944, according to the National Weather Service. Nuclear Winter, then. Saturday's snowflakes mark the third earliest snow sighting since the city began recording. |
