North and South Korean naval vessels exchanged fire on Tuesday after a North Korean patrol boat crossed the maritime border. According to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, a North Korean patrol boat strayed around 900 m south of the Northern Limit Line at around 9:50 a.m. A 570-ton Navy battleship

#6 Sounds like the SKor Navy needs to get it targeting radars fixed. 10 rounds of 76mm and nothing? |

#5 Sounds like some internal competition among the flag officers about what the next step is going to be in running the North, played out in Seoul and on the coastal littoral. |

#4 battleship, warship - trivial mistake in English meaning... unless I guess if you go out expecting to meet a 570 ton warship and meet a battleship instead..... |

#1 This pervasive, craven or wanton International abuse of the term "Battleship" has got to stop. Iff I'm going to call anything a "battleship" in the post-9-11 World + Net, it will be the proposed heavy or super-heavy, super-techy, super-stealthy, multi-dimensional warfare surface ARSENAL/FIRE SHIP, iff-n-when the USN ever builds the thingy. |
