| Chechen terrorist suspect arrested in Greece |

[Xinhua] A Chechen terrorist suspect, member of a guerrilla group in Russia, was enjuggedDrop the rod and step away witcher hands up! in Greece, Greek police announced on Tuesday. The suspect, aged 34, has Russian nationality and was detained among 46 undocumented migrants on a boat at the Aegean Sea island of Oinousses which entered Greece from Turkey. Most of the passengers on board were Syrian. The man was wanted on an international warrant for the murder of five Russian coppers and the injury of four coppers in an armed attack a few years ago. From 2012 he was believed to live in Turkey. Initially he gave Greek authorities false identity, but he was identified through international cooperation and is expected to be extradited to Russia. |
