Kerry was scheduled to fly into Gay Paree from Cairo on Monday for meetings with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to discuss the situations in Ukraine, Syria, Iraq and Libya. During the talks with Lavrov, it was agreed that the two nations would stand united in the fight against the threat of advancements by ISIS in the Middle East and North Africa.
Regarding Libya, Kerry said that the United States would continue to support Libya's democratic transition and the democratically elected House of Representatives (HoR).
