| Georgia warns Russia against Abkhazia integration |

| [Iran Press TV] Tbilisi has warned Moscow against taking further steps towards the integration of the Georgian breakaway region of Abkhazia. The Georgian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Wednesday, calling on Moscow not to sign a draft Russia-Abkhazia treaty on alliance and integration. "We hope that the Russian authorities will refrain from signing this so-called agreement, otherwise it will be considered as a step towards annexation of Abkhazia with subsequent legal consequences," the statement read. |
